St Kitts rises majestically out of the Caribbean Sea on the horizon perfectly framing the expansive view.  Ships sail in the distance, water taxis and pleasure boats dart across The Narrows silently like hummingbirds, underneath an ever changing sky.  Spectacular sunsets precede St Kitts lighting up and twinkling tantalizingly in the distance.

This architectural gem has been designed to perch wide along the landscape, so that every room benefits from the dramatic vista which unfolds 24 hours a day.

The style of the property is a modern interpretation of traditional Caribbean  architecture,  incorporating large verandahs, open plan rooms, high ceilings and louvred doors – although these are modern in finish and include hurricane screens. 

The entire property is bright and airy with a relaxed feel, and a calming palette of tonal whites, sophisticated greys and driftwood elements.

All the furniture is indoor outdoor style, very stylish yet comfortable and cosy.

The vast GREAT ROOM incorporates the following:

SITTING ROOM   Large cathedral ceiling with ceiling fans air the room, and the 18’ retractable doors open on to the expansive verandah. Furnished with chic DEDON sofas and armchairs, surrounding a built in unit with flat screen TV.

 KITCHEN    The fully equipped kitchen is stylish and perfectly designed with custom Kraftmaid cabinetry in blue/grey.  It boasts granite counter tops, stainless steel GE Profile fridge freezer, range with extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave and cookware,  flatware, glassware and tableware is included.

DINING AREA     Indoor dining table set by DEDON that comfortably sits 8 is available for more formal suppers and dinner parties.

MASTER BEDROOM WITH ENSUITE     A grand master bedroom, with double oversized French louvred doors opening on to the verandah.    Beautifully furnished in white wicker style with king sized bed, matching nightstands, dressing tables, pair of armchairs and occasional table. Tonal linens in shades of  silver grey offset the cool floor tiles underfoot.

Guest powder room is accessed off the hallway to the Master Bedroom, and is beautifully finished with a Murano glass style hand basin and artisan mirror.

LAUNDRY & UTILITY ROOM     The Utility Room houses GE Profile Washing Machine and Dryer, large laundry sink and built in floor to ceiling storage for all household linens and supplies.  There is also a large back up freezer and a Liebherr wine fridge that holds 12 cases.

MAIN VERANDAH     The huge verandah, 15’ deep at its widest point, runs the entire length of the house, with all rooms able to access it via oversized louvred French doors.  It’s high ceiling is hung with ceiling fans, screen shades, and offers several seating and casual dining options.  Curved stairs lead down from the main verandah to the pool deck.

GUEST WING   The guest wing can be kept closed down when not required and it’s positioning affords plenty of privacy for visitors and hosts alike. It includes:

GUEST MASTER    A duplicate of the master bedroom, a sumptuous option for guests, with King Sized bed, matching furnishings, large walk in closet and en suite bathroom.

FAMILY  SUITE    2 En-suite bedrooms share a connecting sitting room for maximum privacy and create the prefect space for visiting family members or a group of friends.    Beautifully furnished with queen sized beds, nightstands, dressing tables, lamps, walk in closet and both rooms are finished off with luxury linens.

The shared sitting room, is furnished with a three piece candy striped blue suite, built in wall unit and flat screen TV.

POOL DECK     Centrepiece for the lower verandah is the 30’x15’ infinity edged pool, salt water and heated for all year swimming.   The Pool Deck is shaded by two custom made sails that create the perfect retreat from the midday sun.

A summer kitchen is fully equipped with outdoor appliances including built in gas grill, refrigerator, sink housed in custom cabinetry and worktop.

White sun loungers and matching dining table and chairs provide some much needed comfort after a fun filled splashing session in the pool en famille.   The built in outdoor shower provides a refreshing spritz after swimming and sunbathing.

One car garage and further utility storage is available, as well as ample parking off the driveway for additional vehicles.

The property sits in just under 3 acres of gardens, of which around a third is landscaped and the rest is left as a nature reserve.  Drip irrigation systems feed the abundant array of bougainvillea, hibiscus and yellow bells and towering palms and tropical fruit trees abound.
